Spring tile

This is an image I painted for a group project in the Painter Can forum at In Depth Arts. Each participant painted a square tile that was one sixteenth of the final image. The work on the painting proceeded from the upper-left tile to the lower-right one, with each artist getting only a small strip from the tile above them and the tile to the left of them, which they had to match. The only other thing guiding us was that the theme of the painting was "Spring."
The finished result used to be posted on the web (at a previous incarnation of the In Depth site) but is no longer available.
Sadly, the image compression on this painting is causing the ladybug to look blurry and the ground textures to lose some of their dynamic range.
