I was working on some mixing tests for a couple of my colors (Cerulean Blue Hue and Cadmium Yellow Light Hue) and ended up with a bunch of spare mixed paint. In such situations, I'll generally reach for a canvas or board or paper and start in on a new painting. And that's what I did here.
This looks like a promising start. I'm particularly happy with some of the brushwork in the sky. In coming sessions, I'm planning on working other colors in, but I'm not sure how exactly how much of that I'll do...could be a little, could be a lot.
