Tulip frenzy

The 23rd was a sunny Sunday and in the morning I took a stroll down the quay with my macro lens. I had been somewhat inspired by my photos from the Buchart Gardens, and wanted to shoot some more flowers. Unfortunately, it was still early in the season and tulips constituted the majority of what was blooming.

On second thought, that wasn't too unfortunate, since the gardeners who tend to the quay did a really good job with lots of different tulips. The color was fantastic and I just went wild getting all sorts of tulip shots, along with a few other flowers and blossoms. Now I'll just be quiet so that you can enjoy my little walk.

I hope that the images were sufficiently entertaining without words.

My walk had turned out to be quite photoproductive. In fact, it was so much so that next time I'll bring you more photos from the same outing.

Your resident bulb-lover,
Tom
